Hi everyone,

CSI: Webcomics didn't quite work as planned. First, both Dave and I have been extremely busy lately and couldn't spend the time we would have wanted to advertise the website properly.

On the other hand, this does not mean we are shutting it down. We really want to make this project to be a successful one and for this, we are putting it on hiatus. We do not have a targeted date, yet. We will be back, but we will do it in a smarter way.

Also, in order for us to make it happen, we need your assistance. We need your feedback on every aspect of the project:

Rules
Voting system
Website Design
Ways of advertising it(twitter, etc...)
Any comments/feedback

etc...

We've activated the Comments in this thread, please feel free to add anything you may think of. You can also use the contact section to contact us directly

Please help us!

Thanks for all the ones who participated so far!

Cheers

Dave & Antoine

Either way, I like the idea of CSI Webcomics. There are not any other places that have lived past the first few weeks, hopefully this one can. (Sorry for three posts, there is a character limit.)

For the voting, I think that an e-mail system would encourage more voting. Having everybody put in an e-mail address and then have to click a link to finalize their vote would be safe. The only problem would be registering many e-mail addresses, but you could check the IP address (?) and make sure it isn't the same person over and over again.

Putting a "RT if you did or like this" at the end of the Tweets could potentially get you some more publicity. If you could get some big names to re tweet, then you could have some more entries.
You know I'll be here when you get back!

I agree it'd be a shame to totally shut down, this is a great idea and through it I found other comics I enjoy.

Being able to vote for more than one comic would be great, like how Fark has their Photoshop contests set up.

I found you through Twitter, so I guess that's a good way of adverstising, I like Project Wonderful too.
